Why We Avoid Agricultural Ryegrass
You may find lawn seed for sale which contains agricultural ryegrass. This kind of seed is best avoided. It does not last much more than a year. It is unsuitable for low mowing and it grows back very quickly. Instead, for a perfect lawn, look for a professional amenity ryegrass:
- Slow regrowth - 50% less mowing in a year
- Fineness of leaf - a thick lawn and less weeds or open patches
- Emerald green colour during the summer months
- A lawn to be proud of which can last a lifetime
